How to Rent from Trengove Studios:

Renting our props for your shoot is easy! Please call or email us and we will help you determine what is right for your job. In some cases we can customize a rental prop with little or no additional cost. After you have chosen a prop, we need a deposit.

We accept American Express, Visa and MasterCard. Giving us your credit card information for the deposit is the easiest and quickest way. You can Download our Credit Card Authorization Form and send it back to us via email or fax.

Rental items are checked fully before they leave our studio. If an item is received in damaged condition, notify us immediately. You will be charged for items returned back to us damaged without notification. Rental charges apply whether or not items were used. Charges for rentals are due upon return of rental items. Actual charges are based on time away from Trengove Studios including transit time. We are not responsible for delays by carriers, either outgoing or incoming. If delays occur, rental charges still apply. You are responsible for providing insurance during every phase of the rental including during transit. Acceptance of props constitutes your agreement to our rental terms.

Insurance coverage for our rental props is the liability of the renter. By renting our props, customers must recognize they are responsible for loss or damage to any rental props. Proof of acceptable coverage for the full replacement value of the equipment may be required prior to rental. Insurance coverage must match the deposit value of the item that is rented.

General Rental Policy. Daily Rate = 24 HRS. Friday 9AM through Monday 10:30AM constitutes a one day rental. Friday AM through Monday PM = 2 Days. Thursday after 3PM through Monday AM is considered a one day rental. Any rental returned after 10:30AM will be charged additional rent for that day. Weekly rate = 3X the daily rate (covers 7 days).

Renting from within New York City:

Call or stop by to select your props. Props must be picked up by you or your messenger. We cannot offer delivery.
Pick-up before 3PM, due back the same time next day to be charged a one day rental.
Pick-up after 3PM, due back before 10:30PM the third day. (eg. Take out prop Monday at 4pm, you would return the prop back on Wed. morning
We encourage you send us your resale certificate if you are exempt from sales tax.

Renting from out of town:

We will do our best through talking to you to determine what you need for your job. Give us your FedEX or UPS account number and we will ship the prop so you receive it in the morning of your shoot. If your company does not have a shipping account number, we will add the shipping to your bill.

Send the prop back the same day you receive it and only be charged a one day rental fee. If you need the prop longer you just pay the daily rental price. After 3 days, the charge is at the weekly rate.

IMPORTANT: We must receive all returns via morning delivery (by 10:30AM). If you send returns via afternoon delivery, you will incur extra charges.
